Superior MotionCam HD (PhOD) Jeweller is a next-generation motion detector designed to provide high-quality alarm photo verification with support for both HD1 and HDR. Thanks to HD technology, details such as faces or text become more clear and recognizable. In turn, HDR further enhances the image by improving colors and contrast, ensuring that photos look more lifelike and are free from overexposed or underexposed areas. But there’s more: Superior MotionCam HD (PhOD) Jeweller captures and delivers photos at incredible speeds thanks to the TurboWings protocol. Thus, security teams can quickly confirm real threats and respond effectively. Users can take on-demand photos anytime with a single tap in an Ajax app. The device can also be configured to take photos automatically by scenario, by arming/disarming, or according to a set schedule.
Communication & Detection Summary
Wireless Communication:
All three devices utilize the Jeweller protocol for commands and alarms, and Wings technology for data transmission.
The MotionCam Outdoor HighMount (PhOD) and MotionCam Jeweller use Wings for high-speed photo transmission, whereas the Curtain Outdoor Jeweller uses Wings specifically for firmware updates.
Detection Technology:
The MotionCam Outdoor HighMount (PhOD) and Curtain Outdoor Jeweller use a dual-technology approach with 2 × PIR sensors and 1 × K-band microwave sensor to minimize false alarms.
The indoor MotionCam Jeweller uses a single PIR sensor.
Operating Conditions:
Both outdoor models (HighMount (PhOD) and Curtain) are IP55 rated and built for harsh outdoor environments, whereas the indoor MotionCam Jeweller is IP50 rated.
The indoor MotionCam Jeweller has a narrower operating temperature range (–10 °C to +40 °C) compared to the outdoor models, which are rated for –25 °C to +60 °C.
