Curtain Outdoor Jeweller is a motion detector for covering the perimeter with exceptional accuracy and a near-zero chance of false alarms. Featuring a unique optical system, the device looks over narrow sectors of up to 12 m long. Dual motion detection technology engaging two PIR sensors and one K-band microwave sensor allows filtering out false alarms caused by thermal interference. Adjustable detection range and sensitivity, as well as two operating modes, make the device a perfect fit for any site. Pre-installed batteries ensure stable performance for up to three years.
Primary Functionality:
The MotionCam Outdoor HighMount (PhOD) is designed for wide-area surveillance and provides visual verification via its built-in camera.
The Curtain Outdoor Jeweller is built for narrow-beam perimeter protection, ideal for safeguarding windows, doorways, or specific restricted zones.
Detection Capabilities:
The MotionCam covers a 90° horizontal angle with a detection distance of up to 15 m.
The Curtain detector utilizes a narrow 8° horizontal angle with a detection distance of 8–12 m.
Pet Compatibility:
Pet immunity is not available for the MotionCam Outdoor HighMount (PhOD).
The Curtain Outdoor Jeweller supports pet immunity for animals up to 100 cm in height when installed at a 1 m height and set to "Pet" mode.
Communication & Power:
The MotionCam uses Wings technology for high-speed photo transmission.
The Curtain detector uses Wings technology exclusively for firmware updates.
While both have a calculated battery life of up to 3 years, the MotionCam requires 6 batteries, whereas the Curtain detector requires only 2
